"Whoa whoa, Jesus - "
She doesn't think, just rushes over, stepping quickly around and over the mess as she places careful hands on his shoulders, trying to guide the mess away from him so it doesn't get all over either of them. When he's finished, she releases him, finding a glass of water to soak some of the napkins with before she hands them to him.
"Here. The coolness helps." Speaking from some fairly recent experiences with morning sickness. "What happened?"

Much to the displeasure of the staff who have to now clean it up. He sits up and gives her a weak smile, clearly grateful for her help but the way it’s quick to twist into an unhappy frown, brow furrowed in disappointment—
“I don’t think I can eat food anymore.” With how raw his voice sounds, Daylight is confident no one will be able to hear what he has to say besides her. Not if they get up in his personal space and he likes to think no one is capable of doing that, yet. “At least, food like this. Processed meat and wheat and... and shit like that.”
It’s painful to talk but what’s more painful is the knowledge is his body slowly going back too quickly but too slowly for his liking. “It’s this really shit I inherited thanks to my parents. Looks like I got it back like my height. If I try to force myself to eat it then I simply puke it back out.”
Thanks, mom and dad.

"Here. Rinse out your mouth," she says, glancing at the staff who have come to investigate the commotion. "Do you think you can walk?""

He bounces his leg to test how bad the pins-and-needles are — Not that awful but not something he would wish on someone who merely annoyed him. He’ll live, though, and he steels himself to try and get on his feet. “Give me a sec to pay the bill? Least I can do for the poor staff here.”
They have suffered a lot in the last two days with his antics and he does feel bad for being a menace. He fumbles for his wallet, pulling out enough to cover the meal and a tip he hopes will make the mess worthwhile.
