She could say it's to try and avoid getting a shock from her pacemaker, but that would be a lie. It's more that she's trying not to enjoy being a part in all of this. While she's still missing the part of her power set that would make that truly dangerous, she has tried so hard to avoid falling into bad habits here and would like to continue.
