[ Monika checked back from times to times, worriedly so. Once Okuyasu out, she wanted to go back in to make sure Takame and Bruce are safe and escort them to safety... But she didn't know if she would be able to. She was on the brink of collapse. The game claimed she was "athletic," but the developer hadn't actually bothered with making her exceptional. She was fit and better than average, but that was it it. Just an informed trait that doesn't translate well to reality.

She walked at Okuyasu's pace though, never trying to hurry him along. ]

I think some others may have already cleared the way, so we'll be fine.

[ She had entrusted Sayori to Sans and didn't know what had happened since then. But she was fairly confident Sans could hold his own... If they'd gone forward, odds were they had defeated any such creatures on the way out. And Takame along with Bruce are holding the fort on the back. She smiles reassuringly at him. ]
