[Several circumstances had made Takame reluctant to leave the house. From the intense weather as bad as a Coerthan storm, to the face that he nearly drowned earlier in the month to the increased amounts of snowmen barring his exit. He could respect the festive will, but this was something else.

He hadn't the heart to knock any of the snowmen down, children made them a lot he noted, but Shinjiro seemed more the type. And he thought nothing of it when Shinjiro left, save for concern that he would end up kami only knew where. Then some time later, he heard the sound of retching from right outside.

That was enough to put him on alert, going right through the front door to see what was happening only to open it to the sight of a pile of snowmen, some knocked on the ground, the all too familiar scent of decay and bile and corpses caked with snow and half frozen blood.

Takame was no stranger to the sight, though it brought about a wariness of the unknown cause. The dead he could do nothing for, but the paralyzed Shinjiro he saw staring the dead down...]

... Shinjiro? [He approached carefully, knowing better than to startle a man in shock. He waited a moment, wanting but not expecting a response. It was only after that that Takame stepped closer, half way blocking the sight of the snowy bodies thanks to his height and reached for Shinjiro's shoulder. He lifted his hand first directly in Shinjiro's line of sight. Then hovered a hand over it but didn't actually touch.] Shinjiro.
