Characters trying to catch a glimpse of the creature (?) in the lake will sadly come up empty handed. Even without the harsh weather conditions that make it difficult to see in the village, the lake is covered in ice and the water is dark and deep, making it almost impossible to see anything in it (save for people caught swimming and flailing around in it). However, if you brave the cold and keep your eye on it long enough, you may notice the surface of the water rippling, almost as if something is gliding underneath it...
Mind controlled characters will react to the corpses in their yards exactly as a Robbie would: completely unfazed. They're happily oblivious to anything odd, whether it be frozen corpses or monstrous reindeer, and may perceive either as being something completely different than what it actually is (believing a monster is just a grumpy reindeer) or completely missing the point of what they're supposed to be reacting to (being more concerned about tracking snow in their house instead of the corpse on their porch).
