Stores are open - sporadically. Much like the blizzard, this varies some days. When the weather is too awful to see out the windows, stores will also be closed, but there may not be an announcement beforehand about this. If power goes out, they'll stay closed. Hopefully you don't catch yourself in town when this happens!

Stores will begin to close early the last few days before Christmas.
